Last weekend was definitely an eye opener for myself. And I had a lot of cherries popped last week. It was the first time I had to shave my entire body, first time getting a spray tan ( which I didn't really that even black guys needed to do), and it was the first time competing in a physique competition.
It was a bitter sweet moment as I came to many realizations about myself. As I awaited in basement of the Hippodrome theater in downtown Baltimore. With 315 other competitors, we awaited for the decisions after that morning's pre-judge.
Welp, I lost.
So here's what I learned about myself from this event;

My fitness journey is not over.
I know what I want , and how hard I need to work to get there. I suggest for anyone who wants to test themselves to go out and compete. Its a great kick in the ass.
