Procrastination Is A Disease That We All Hold The Cure To

Procrastination is all around us. Some of us are able to fight through it while others live day to day dreaming about the "What ifs." Here is a friendly reminder that you can do WHATEVER your heart desires as long as you punch procrastination and self-doubt in the face.

You woke up this morning with some serious goals in mind. Your motivation to get back to that twenty somethen’ body has been rejolted since watching last night’s episode of the Biggest Loser or Fit To Fat To Fit.

So like most Americans, you naturally get motivated and tell yourself that “One day” you’ll get your sh*t together and get in the best shape of your life.

But one day eventually turns into a never happening. Sooner or later, those days turn into a lost dreams.

You tell yourself “No biggie, I'll get to it … one day.” Before you know it, one day goes by, then a few weeks of your life become a fleeting memory. Finally, a three years go by and you’re sitting there asking yourself “Where did time go?”

Eventually, a decade will go by. The self doubt will be at an all time high and you will begin to tell yourself “I’m too old to start now.”

Listen up! Telling yourself “I’m too old” to start now is straight up bullshit. God willing you’re not ill or handicapped, then you are fully capable of changing your mindset.

This vicious loop of self-doubt and procrastination needs to be stopped. And in my opinion, self-doubt and procrastination are two of the most overlooked psychological diseases in my generation. (I’m a millennial case you were wondering)

Luckily for us, you can cure and rid yourself of self-doubt and procrastination.

Break the procrastination loop by confronting your self-doubt and fears head on. You just have to get it over with and JUST DO IT like Uncle NIKE taught us all growing up. Instead of and telling yourself one day, start telling yourself “Today I will...”.

Today...you know what actually right now, I want you to turn “I can’t” into “I will.” Use the script below and tell yourself these things every morning before leaving the house and starting your day.

Today I will follow my dreams, not one day.

Today I will find what my heart is looking for, not one day.

Today I will start the journey to lose that extra 20lbs ASAP, not one day.

Today I will I will love my body no matter what, not one day.

Today I will pursue potential opportunities, not one day.

Today I will I will aim to reach my fitness goals by a certain date, not one day.

I will start today, not one day.

     F**k one day.
